My name is Magnus Axelson, I was Born in 1970 and I have lived most of my life in Sweden. My family and I live in a little town called Sandviken 200km north of Stockholm. I have a wonderful fiancèe and a beautiful little daughter who is beyond words.

I have been fascinated with knives for as long as I can remember, but I have been making knives since 2002. It started when I needed a knife for my longbow archery. The design of my knives sometimes have some influence from the medieval times since that is of great interest to me.

I try to make my knives as usable as possible, although I have been asked to make knives for the sole purpose of collecting as well. Being self taught in knife making lets me be very free in my creativity and usual limitations are never an issue. I enjoy making knives in my own time and to any design I feel for at the moment.

My sheaths are always made specifically for each knife. The knife itself is used as a mold so no two sheaths have ever been the same. All knives I make are also unique, my intentions have never been to make specific models that will be duplicated.

In the future I intend to keep exploring the endless possibilities that knife making offers. Please feel free to comment on my work in any way. Should anyone like a custom knife I would be glad to take on most challenges.
